Mezzo-soprano Sarah Coit’s current season includes Arbate in Mozart’s "Mitridate, re di Ponto" with Opera Philadelphia, performances of Donna Elvira in Mozart’s "Don Giovanni" with Opera Baltimore and Opera Delaware, a New Year’s Eve concert with American Bach Soloists, Rosina in "The Barber of Seville" with Opera Tampa, and Laurene Powell Jobs in Mason Bates’ "The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs" with Utah Opera. Recent highlights include Second Maid in Strauss’ "Daphne" with Seattle Opera, Rosina in "The Barber of Seville" with Knoxville Opera, Pergolesi’s "Stabat Mater" with American Bach Soloists, Miss Jessel in Britten’s "The Turn of the Screw" with Opera Tampa, the title roles in Handel’s "Rinaldo" with Pacific Northwest Opera, Massenet’s "Cendrillon" with Vashon Opera, Rossini’s "La Cenerentola" with Wichita Grand Opera, Donizetti’s "Maria Stuarda" with Opera Baltimore, and Hansel in "Hansel and Gretel" with Utah Opera. A native of Spring Hill, FL, Sarah currently resides in Philadelphia.
