This touring program represents a snapshot of what Variant 6 is all about: the flexibility and expressivity of a virtuosic vocal chamber ensemble. This can be heard in our relentless commitment to early music (through the Renaissance, and into the Baroque), the re-invigoration of late-Romantic and early-Modern masterpieces, and our celebration of the pioneering music of today. Featuring works by Monteverdi, Howells, Ravel, Britten, Benjamin C.S. Boyle, David Shapiro, Ted Hearne, and Gabriel Jackson.
