FRAN DANIEL LAUCERICA
Cuban-American tenor, Fran Daniel Laucerica, has been praised for his clarity and agility in operatic and concert repertoire. Recent operatic engagements include in Armida (Rinaldo), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Almaviva), Il viaggio a Reims (Don Luigino), Il fortunato inganno (Eduardo), Pagliacci (Beppe), Proving Up (Miles), Iphigénie en Tauride (Pylade), La traviata (Alfredo) and appearances with Opera Philadelphia, Washington Concert Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, Pacific Opera Project, Opera San Jose, Virginia Opera, and Wolf Trap Opera. Mr. Laucerica is also a recent Encouragement Award winner of the Mildred Miller Competition, Third Prize-Winner of the Handel Aria Competition and, in concert, has performed as a soloist in Carmina Burana, St. Matthew Passion, Christmas Oratorio, Mass in B minor, and Messiah.
